The Velotric Discover 3 e-bike’s name is no joke, particularly with the brand calling it an “ultimate comfort commuter,” with my very short time on it so far having me quite impressed by all it brings to your riding journeys. It has a 750W rear hub motor (1,100W peak) powered by a 48V 15.2Ah battery that provides up to 28 MPH speeds for up to 80 miles with pedal assistance and up to 20 MPH speeds for up to 65 miles relying on the throttle alone. Like some of the brand’s other 2026 releases, it boasts the SensorSwap tech allowing you to switch between a cadence or torque sensor whilke riding, as well as smart features that include Apple Find My, Google’s Find Hub, NFC card unlocking, smart tuning through the companion app, one-touch class switching (class 1-3), and more.
Other features you’ll be getting here include Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, KENDA puncture-resistant tires, Air suspension 80mm with lockout, a 500-lumen integrated headlight, a taillight with brake activation, turn signaling, a walk mode for going up steep inclines, an 8-speed Shimano derailleur, a 440-pound total payload, an IPX6 water-resistance construction, a 3.5-inch full color display, a handy USB-C port for charging devices, and more.
