Ring’s newest Battery Doorbell 2K is a strong pick for anyone who wants a modern video doorbell without spending a lot, and there’s a great deal on it right now on Amazon. This 2026 model brings sharper video and a wider view than you’d expect at this price.
The Ring Battery Doorbell 2K records in Retinal 2K video and offers up to 6x enhanced zoom, so it’s built to give you a clearer look at who’s at the door and what’s happening outside. It also has live view and two-way talk, letting you check in and speak to visitors from your phone. Ring says the camera uses a 140 x 140-degree head-to-toe field of view, which is designed to show more of the area in front of your door.
It runs on a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery and charges over USB-C. You can also hardwire it to an existing 8-24 VAC doorbell system if that works better for your setup. Other key details include single-band 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, motion alerts sent to your phone, IPX weather protection, and an install that Ring says takes about 10 minutes.
As for the deal, the Ring Battery Doorbell 2K is down to $39.99 on Amazon from its $99.99 recommended retail price. That’s a 60% discount off the RRP, saving you $60. Better still, this price is back to the all-time low, making now a very good time to grab the newest Ring entry-level battery doorbell while the discount is live.
