    2. Anthropic to add AI watermarks in Claude outputs

Machine-readable watermarks are to be added by Anthropic to AI tool Claude’s generated text to comply with the EU AI Act, reports TechCrunch.

Forty-two reports were made about AI-related issues between July 2025 and July 2026, according to recent data from the SRA.

Some of these include concerns about confidentiality, supervision and inaccurate legal citations, the Law Society Gazette reports.

The regulator published a warning notice and guidance on the misuse of AI on 17 August 2026.

Applications are open until 27 September.
