The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Select is built for anyone who wants affordable 4K streaming from a brand that already knows this space well, and there’s a strong deal on it right now. It’s a budget-focused streaming stick that still covers the features most people actually use every day.
This model supports 4K playback, modern HDR formats, and Dolby Atmos, so it’s made to give older TVs a sharper picture and fuller sound. It also runs Amazon’s newer Fire TV software experience, with Alexa voice control and access to major streaming apps. For everyday use, it’s described as solid for streaming, launching apps, and voice search. It sits below the pricier Fire TV Stick 4K Plus and 4K Max models, so it’s aimed more at value than top-end speed, but that’s exactly why it stands out for mainstream viewing.
The deal makes it a lot more tempting. The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Select has dropped to $21.99 on Amazon, down from its $49.99 recommended retail price. That’s a $28 discount, or 56% off RRP. While it’s not quite the all-time low, it’s only $4 above it, which still makes this a very strong chance to grab a 4K streamer for less.
There are a few tradeoffs compared to Amazon’s higher-end sticks, including more basic connectivity with Wi-Fi 5 instead of Wi-Fi 6, but this one is clearly made for shoppers who want inexpensive 4K streaming and Alexa features without paying extra for premium-tier hardware. At this price, it’s an easy one to consider.
