The first thing that stands out about the PicoGo Pro AH22 isn’t actually the screen. It’s how much Baseus has managed to squeeze into such a small charger. We’ve seen plenty of compact 100W GaN bricks before, but most of them keep things pretty simple. This one, on the other hand, gives you three USB-C ports, foldable prongs, and enough output to handle a MacBook alongside smaller devices without turning into a giant desktop brick.

Each of the Type-C ports here can deliver up to 100W when used by itself, so you don’t have to remember which connection is the “fast” one before plugging in a laptop. Things obviously change once you start filling the other ports, but Baseus still advertises up to 95W total output with all three connections in use. That makes it the kind of charger that can realistically replace a few separate bricks in a bag.

Of course, that screen on the front is one of its biggest draws, and I’d say it’s well implemented as well. Smart displays have been showing up on more chargers lately, and we even saw one recently on UGREEN’s Nexode Pro 160W model. But the implementation here on this Baseus charger feels particularly interesting because of how it takes up almost the entire front side of the unit to give you all the important details. It’s also a full-color panel, which looks much more polished than the basic monochrome displays you typically get. You can see live wattage, temperature, charging time, and the active charging protocol at a glance.

Baseus also supports device recognition and shows battery information for select newer Apple gear, including recent iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks. One thing I particularly like here is being able to see how much a device has charged without having to reach for it. For instance, when I have my MacBook Neo plugged in with the lid closed, I can simply glance at the display on the PicoGo charger to check the battery percentage instead of opening the laptop just to look at the status bar.

That deeper readout is limited to supported devices, of course, but everything else will still charge normally. It’s a nice bonus if most of your setup already sits inside the Apple ecosystem. Then there are the Peeko animations, which give the charger a bit more personality. Are they necessary? Absolutely not. But they do make the AH22 feel a little less like another anonymous GaN brick, and the Dark Cherry finish already gives it more character than most chargers in this category, in my opinion. It would also pair nicely with the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro, which is all but confirmed to launch in a Dark Cherry (or whatever Apple ends up calling it) finish.

Lastly, it’s worth pointing out that Baseus has packed in three different charging modes on this unit. Turbo is pretty self-explanatory and is designed to prioritize charging speed, while Gentle takes a more conservative approach for situations where you aren’t in a hurry. Smart mode sits in between and lets the charger handle things automatically. There’s also a delayed smart power-off feature that can stop unnecessary power delivery after a supported device finishes charging. Notably, Baseus is also using a dual-GaN design for this charger, along with graphene, an MCU for temperature monitoring, and what it describes as a five-layer thermal-management setup.

Packing 100W into something this small naturally makes heat management important, particularly when you’re pushing a laptop hard for an extended period. I haven’t had any issues with the temperatures so far, and I’d say the charger has managed to stay within the limits and not throttle the charging performance.

All things considered, I’d say this is easily one of the best chargers Baseus has put out in a while. The PicoGo Pro AH22 packs a genuinely useful display into a compact body without making the whole thing feel bulky, and you’re still getting 100W output, three USB-C ports, multiple charging modes, smart power management, and a 100W cable in the box. The Peeko animations are mostly there for fun, but the deeper device recognition and battery readouts add a more personal touch that you don’t usually get on many other chargers out there. It already feels well-priced at $60, but the $40 launch deal makes it an even easier recommendation.
