Andavi Solutions, a provider of sales execution software for beverage and consumer packaged goods companies, has acquired Infilect, an artificial intelligence technology company headquartered in Bengaluru, India, with operations in the United States. The acquisition combines Andavi’s salesforce automation capabilities with Infilect’s image recognition and agentic AI technologies to help businesses improve retail visibility, merchandising compliance, and sales execution.
Infilect develops visual intelligence software that analyzes photographs and videos captured in retail environments. Its technology identifies products, stock-keeping units, shelf facings, pricing, inventory availability, competitor activity, and other retail execution metrics.
The platform analyzes product displays, shelves, menus, and backbars, giving consumer goods and beverage companies insight into how their products are positioned and sold.
Sales representatives can capture images or videos during retail visits and receive AI-generated recommendations to improve product availability, merchandising, and sales performance.
These recommendations may help representatives identify out-of-stock products, pricing inconsistencies, competitive threats, and opportunities to improve retail shelf placement.
The combined platform will also give managers greater visibility into store-level execution, helping them spot performance gaps across locations and respond more quickly.
Andavi’s existing technology supports sales execution, pricing, trade promotions, and market visibility for beverage and consumer goods companies.
Infilect adds automated analysis of physical retail conditions, allowing customers to connect store-level observations with sales planning and operational decisions.
The companies have already begun integrating their technologies, with combined solutions currently operating in production environments for beverage alcohol customers.
Infilect will continue operating with its existing products, team, customer relationships, and service commitments.
The acquisition also expands Andavi’s technical capabilities in agentic AI, an approach that uses artificial intelligence systems to interpret information and recommend or execute tasks within defined workflows.
For consumer goods companies, these capabilities could help translate retail observations into more timely sales and merchandising actions.
The transaction reflects growing interest in applying computer vision and AI to retail operations, particularly where companies must monitor products across numerous stores and distribution channels.
“This acquisition advances our strategy to build a more intelligent sales execution platform. Infilect gives our customers better visibility into what is happening in the market and helps turn those insights into action.”
