Last week, we reported that Amazfit had delivered a slew of new updates to multiple smartwatches. Specifically, the company began rolling out improved Helio Strap support to the Balance 3, Balance Ultra and to the Cheetah 2 Ultra (curr. $599 on Amazon). Please see our corresponding article for more details about the other changes that Amazfit has made this month for these smartwatches.
Moreover, the company has not forgotten about its older Balance smartwatch, either. On the contrary, Amazfit has bundled three new features into version 3.28.50.1, which it is rolling out globally. For instance, the Balance now supports Resting Heart Rate data synchronisation with one’s Zepp account. Reportedly, this allows resting heart rate values to be synced across multiple Amazfit devices, too.
Amazfit has also added Today’s Activity data fusion, which combines activity data when using multiple Amazfit devices. On top of that, version 3.28.50.1 adds the option of selecting a manual rest during a pool swimming activity. Incidentally, Amazfit claims to have optimised system stability too, while fixing known bugs as well. The company has not elaborated further in this regard, though.
