The TCL TAB A1 Android Tablet just dropped to $179.97 on Amazon, down from its $219.99 retail price. That’s $40 off, or 18% off the recommended retail price, and it puts this budget-friendly tablet back near its best pricing, so it’s a good time to grab one if it’s been on your list.
The TAB A1 is built around an 11-inch display with 2.1K resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. That should make movies, shows, web pages, and social feeds look sharper and smoother than what you’d usually expect from a lower-cost tablet. It’s designed for streaming, browsing, reading, and light productivity, so it fits well as a couch tablet, a travel screen, or a basic school-and-home device.
Inside, TCL pairs a MediaTek Helio G100 chip with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. That setup suggests solid day-to-day performance for common apps and multitasking. You also get an 8,000mAh battery, USB-C charging, and Android 16 with Google services, plus some TCL productivity and AI-style features.
The big draw here is value. For under $180, you’re getting a large screen, a faster refresh rate, decent memory and storage, and a battery size that should suit entertainment and study use. At $179.97 on Amazon, this deal makes the TCL TAB A1 easy to notice before the price goes back up.
