Amazon’s listing for the The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake on Nintendo Switch 2 is now completely out of stock, but you can still score the pre-order discount over at Walmart with the special Textured Foil Cover.
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake$60 (Reg. $70) | Walmart
- With commemorative Textured Foil Cover
We did our best to warn folks the pre-order edition of the Ocarina of Time remake could start to sell out before launch, and especially at retailers where you can score the $10 discount.
Amazon’s listing says “temporarily out of stock,” but it also says “Available again starting Nov. 5.”
This means that not only is its $10 discount on the highly-anticipated remake likely gone for good, but it will also not re-stock on November 5 (launch day) with the limited edition Textured Foil Cover:
The commemorative foil cover version has sold out. Standard non-foil cover versions will be available to purchase starting November 5, 2026. All copies contain the same game experience
That also means that if you are looking to secure the special commemorative edition at a discount, Walmart is (as of the time of writing) the only place to do so. There are other retailers carrying the game, but only Walmart is offering the $10 discount.
As we have detailed previously, loads of physical first-party Nintendo games have gone up for pre-order at $10 off, openly to jump right back to full price on launch day and largely remain there. If you want to land a deal on one of those Nintendo Switch 2 titles that might not go on sale again for a long, long time (or ever) do it now before Walmart sells out too.
