Twelve South launches new 65W Retractable USB-C Travel Charger
With the new Cablesnap, Twelve South is expanding its reach into the travel and EDC-ready charging game. Ready for MacBooks, iPad, and your iPhone, the new charger delivers up to 65W of juice to as many as three devices at once.
One of the standout features here is the retractable USB-C connection. While certainly not the first time we have seen something like this, Cablesnap features a flat 29-inch, spring-loaded cable that pulls out when needed and retracts back into the device on its own.
Every travel bag carries the same four things. A wall charger, a cable for the laptop, a cable for the phone, and a plug adapter for wherever you are going. Cablesnap is one object that does all of it.
The Cablesnap also comes with some international travel adapters in the box as well – “UK (Type G) or EU (Type C) adapter to charge abroad, no separate travel adapter needed. The US plug folds down for a carry-on friendly fit.”
