In addition to macOS 27.2 Golden Gate RC 1, Apple is also rolling out the third developer and public RCs for macOS Sequoia 15.8.2 and macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. Here are the details.
Security fixes expected
Continuing Apple’s weekly RC rollouts for older macOS versions ahead of their official release, Apple is now rolling out the third release candidates of macOS Sequoia 15.8.2 and macOS Tahoe 26.7.2, in addition to the first RC for macOS 27.2 Golden Gate.
Apple released macOS Sequoia 15.8.1 and macOS Tahoe 26.7.1 late last month, both of which saw two RCs before the official rollout.
So far, Apple’s release notes for the third macOS Sequoia 15.8.2 and macOS Tahoe 26.7.2 RCs mention only that they bring “important security fixes” and are “recommended for all users.”
Apple will likely detail the fixes included in macOS Sequoia 15.8.2 and macOS Tahoe 26.7.2 after their official release, which will likely come alongside macOS 27.2 Golden Gate within the next few weeks.
The release build for macOS Sequoia 15.8.2 RC 3 is 24H230, while the release build for macOS Tahoe 26.7.2 RC 3 is 25G330.
