Samsung’s Galaxy S27 launch is getting closer, which means pricing and final details are being finalized and, further, leaked. The latest report lists Galaxy S27 series pricing and one spec that divides the lineup into two distinct tiers.

It’s been known that Samsung wants to add another device model to the Galaxy S27 series. It tried last year, but the Galaxy S26 Edge never came to beand was replaced by a rushed S26+. Recent reports specify four different Galaxy S27 models, and none of them seem to be thin. The Galaxy S27 will consist of a base model, S27+, S27 Pro, and S27 Ultra.

A Twitter/X post by @phonefuturist adds a little more context around pricing in the US and Korea for the Galaxy S27 series . The common sentiment has everyone expecting a price increase again. The post pushes back on that, stating that the Galaxy S27 will start at $899 in the US. Here’s the list, according to the leak:

    • Galaxy S27 – $899
    • Galaxy S27+ – $1,099
    • Galaxy S27 Pro – $1,299
    • Galaxy S27 Ultra – $1,399

Technically, the Galaxy S27 is listed here as cheaper than the current Galaxy S26, because Samsung recently jacked the prices up on an existing phone. But due to an added device in the middle, the structure gets a little wonky and can’t be compared to the previous series 1:1.

But going by launch pricing, the Galaxy S27 Pro could cost the same as the Galaxy S26 Ultra, and the new version of the Ultra will bring the series to a peak of $1,399. For reference, a good foldable device like the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is only $500 higher.

The leak also points out a divide in the group based on display specs. The Galaxy S27 and S27+ could get Samsung’s M14+ OLED panel, while the Galaxy S27 Pro and S27 Ultra get the M16 OLED panel. The latter could mean a privacy display for both devices, while the two more affordable options are left without. The M16 panel is new this year and is also used on the outer iPhone Duo display.

Pricing is something that can quickly change, so take this information with a grain of salt. Still, the line between the top-tier premium devices and second-best options is clearer. And now, users get another choice, even though the “Ultra” could cost $100 more.
