OpenAI’s chief scientist Jakub Pachocki has called for “extreme caution” over AI’s runaway progress and warned more intervention may be needed to ensure “humans remain in control of the future”.
Chris Malone, the executive who ran OpenAI’s data center buildout, has left the company. The Wall Street Journal broke the story last week, and an OpenAI spokesperson confirmed the departure to Bloomberg the same day.
