To claim this offer, simply switch to T-Mobile on most plans.
T-Mobile has been the home of incredible iPhone deals all year. We’ve been blessed by free giveaways on the iPhone 17 and iPhone 18 Pro in recent times. Those deals are not live right now, but you can still walk away with an iPhone for free this weekend.
The Apple iPhone 17e is totally free right now with T-Mobile. To qualify for this wild offer, you simply need to switch to T-Mobile on most plans. It really doesn’t get any simpler than that. There’s no trade in. There’s no restrictions on which plan you choose. It’s plain and simple.
The full savings are distributed as monthly credits over a 36-month payment plan. If you leave T-Mobile before the end of the three-year commitment, you will need to pay the remaining balance. That’s how these free deals work — you’re making a commitment to stay with T-Mobile. You do also need to pay local sales tax on the phone’s full retail value upfront, plus a standard $35 device connection fee per line at checkout. But don’t let that hold you back.
We reviewed the iPhone 17e earlier this year, and we largely liked what we saw. Stan Schroeder said “the iPhone 17e is a decent upgrade over its predecessor, and a good choice if you want the cheapest new iPhone you can get.” If you don’t need all the power of the iPhone 18 Pro, it’s a solid choice for normal users.
