Alongside the new MacBook Pro lineup and the new M6 iMac, Apple also unveiled its next-generation OLED iPad mini this week and pre-orders are now live.
The new iPad mini lands as a thinner, lighter, and more powerful miniature Apple tablet this time around. Complete with an upgraded and slightly larger 8.5-inch OLED display, it sports 24% thinner bezels this generation and the more powerful A20 Pro chip (the 512GB model features a more power 6-core CPU compared to the 5-core setup in the entry 128GB model).
Apple has paired down the color options this time around with Midnight and Starlight paint jobs up for grabs while also offering nano-texture glass options at a $100 premium on the 256GB and 512GB models.

Apple knows the iPad mini market, but internet unimpressed by 60Hz
