Farwave takes an interesting new approach to audio player apps, by placing them around the globe. You can explore the world and find radio stations across the planet, with a nice 3D visual in the app. For podcasts and music you want to listen to, you can also explore them in the app with separate visuals.

Farwave lets you listen to all of the radio stations across the world. You can spin around the globe, find a region, and tap on that station. There’s also a ‘Take me anywhere’ button if you just want something at random to hear. The app also offers listening history so you can go back to something later.
Beyond radio stations, Farwave also offers podcasts and music – which each show up on separate planets. You can search for podcasts or add their RSS feeds, and the app supports playback queues, adjustable speed, and offline downloads.
As for music, it doesn’t support Apple Music, but you can bring in your audio files from a computer or the Files app. Each artist has its own signal, and the music stays on device for offline playback.
