That’s $100 off its usual $700 price and a return to the lowest price we first tracked a couple of months ago. You’re looking at some solid deals here considering the standalone PRO model is now going for the same price as the standard MISSION 1, while the PRO Grip Edition is actually cheaper than the regular Grip Edition. GoPro’s MISSION 1 PRO takes the new 50MP 1-inch sensor and GP3 processor from the standard model and pushes things further for more demanding shoots. It can capture up to 8K60, 4K240, and 1080p960, giving you much more flexibility for high-resolution slow motion alongside the wider 159-degree field of view and Open Gate recording. GoPro is also touting better low-light performance, dynamic range, battery life, and heat management than its earlier cameras, so you should be able to see a notable difference in terms of the overall experience. You can also pair it with the Point-and-Shoot Grip, which adds a more traditional camera-style handle and shutter button while doubling as a protective cage with extra mounting points.
