    TL;DR

    • More Samsung Galaxy S27 series specs have emerged in a regulatory filing.
    • The filings reveal 60W charging speeds for the Galaxy S27 Pro and S27 Ultra.
    • Another filing suggests that these phones could have 5,200mAh and 5,700mAh batteries, respectively.

There’s been no shortage of Galaxy S27 series leaks ahead of the early 2027 launch window. A regulatory filing early this month gave us charging details for the Galaxy S27 and S27 Plus, and now the same

China’s 3C regulatory body has listed two Samsung phones, featuring the model numbers SM-S957 and SM-S958. These model numbers were previously associated with the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra, respectively.

The listings reveal that both phones will have 60W wired charging (20V/3A). This isn’t the highest wattage by any means, but it’s good news for the Galaxy S27 Pro in particular. We expected the S27 Ultra to offer 60W charging, just like the Galaxy S26 Ultra, but we weren’t sure about the Pro model.

This news comes a few weeks after 3C listed the Galaxy S27 and S27 Plus. These filings revealed that Samsung’s base phone will have 25W speeds, while the Plus variant will have 45W wired charging. Either way, the listed Pro and Ultra wattages really highlight the base model’s glacial charging speed.

Regulatory listings may also have revealed the S27 Pro and S27 Ultra’s battery capacities. SammyGuru spotted 3C filings for two batteries, and we corroborated this discovery. The batteries are listed with model numbers in line with the Pro and Ultra phones. We see a 5,087mAh battery for the Pro and a 5,534mAh battery for the Ultra. This likely translates to advertised capacities of 5,200mAh and 5,700mAh, respectively. The S27 Ultra’s capacity would be an especially welcome boost over the Ultra line’s 5,000mAh battery. In fact, Samsung has offered a 5,000mAh battery in its Ultra phones since 2021’s Galaxy S21 Ultra.

In any event, the Pro and Ultra phones are evidently shaping up to be the most exciting entries in Samsung’s next flagship family. However, it’s also clear from these early leaks that the base Galaxy S27 might be another boring, lazy release.
