The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake
Nintendo gave our first taste of The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake gameplay today, announced the November 5, 2026 release date, and pre-orders are now live, as mentioned above.
Remade with completely overhauled visuals, fully voiced cutscenes, expanded character dialogue, symphonic orchestral music, reworked camera and movement controls, and more, Link’s milestone 1998 adventure has been reborn for a whole new era. The first print run of the physical version will commemorate the release with special packaging that features textured foil cover art, available while supplies last.
Nintendo Switch 2 – The Legend of Zelda – 40th Anniversary Edition
Nintendo has now officially revealed the new Nintendo Switch 2 – The Legend of Zelda – 40th Anniversary Edition – it will release on October 29 alongside anniversary editions of the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller, “available with and without a display stand, and Nintendo Switch 2 carrying case with screen protector.”
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time playable Ocarinas
There will be a playable version for the “musically inclined” and an “electric version from HORI that plays notes or entire songs at the press of a button.”
New Zelda: Ocarina of Time amiibo
Coming in 2027, Nintendo will be releasing a pair of new amiibo figures – Young Link and Young Zelda – that “can be used to unlock special in-game masks that evoke a retro graphical style.”
LEGO The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – Link & Epona set
Also arriving in spring 2027, Nintendo is teaming up with LEGO for the new 1,750-piece Zelda: Ocarina of Time – Link & Epona set.

We didn’t get to see the new movie just yet, but Nintendo has announced it will hit theaters on April 30, 2027 and it will carry no subtitle – it is just called The Legend of Zelda. Nintendo says “this original film is based on the stories, ideas and concepts of The Legend of Zelda that have built up through 40 years of games.”
