If you held off on buying AirPods during Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days, your patience just paid off. Walmart has Apple AirPods 4 on sale for $79 right now, which is even lower than the price they dropped to during Amazon’s sale. Deals like this on Apple’s earbuds tend to go fast, so it’s worth grabbing a pair while the price lasts. Here’s what to know.
Deal of the day
Apple’s AirPods 4 have a shorter stem than previous models and a reshaped fit that’s meant to stay comfortable and secure all day, plus quick-press controls on each earbud. They run on Apple’s H2 chip, which powers Voice Isolation to cut background noise so you sound clearer on calls in loud places. You also get Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking for a more immersive, surround-style sound. Like other AirPods, they pair easily with Apple devices, support hands-free Siri and audio sharing, and can be tracked in the Find My app.
The earbuds last up to five hours on a single charge and up to 30 hours total with the USB-C charging case, which is smaller than previous versions. Both the earbuds and the case have an IP54 rating, meaning they’re resistant to dust, sweat and water, so you can wear them during workouts or in the rain. They have a 4.3-star average rating from more than 84,900 ratings atWalmart, where they’re currently $79, down from $130.
