New for 2026, the latest leaf vacuum, blower, and mulcher three-in-one from the electric tool experts at EGO promises fully 210 mph of blowing power and enough mulching mayhem to turn 16 bags of autumn leaves into just one for easy fall cleanup.
New for the North American market in 2026, the EGO POWER+ LV5005 Leaf Vacuum and Mulcher with 500 CFM Blower arrives just in time for 2026 fall cleanup, tackling three of the most tedious jobs in suburban housekeeping with a single battery-powered tool that promises to slash tidying-up time and save your lower back in the process.
EVen better: it’s at the lowest price it has dropped to at Amazon since it first debuted there!

Powered by the same EGO 56V ARC Lithium batteries found across the brand’s POWER+ lineupandin the back of John Deere’s electric riding mowers, the 6.0 Ah capacity pack that ships with the LV5005 delivers up to 90 minutes of runtime (on “low” setting).
That sounds like plenty of time to blow leaves into a convenient pile, let the kids and dogs jump around a bit, then suck ’em up and mulch ’em down (the leaves, not the kids and dogs) into the included mulching bag with the LV5005’s six-blade metal impeller.
EGO says it can chop 16 bags of dried leaves down to just one thanks to its claimed 16:1 mulching ratio. That may seem like a weird spec to highlight to you, but it’s a huge deal in neighborhoods and municipalities like mine that can charge as much as $7 (!) per yard waste bag (!!) for pickup. And when you’re ready to swap back to blower mode, a tool-free tube swap makes it easy to switch back and move on to the next pile.
How much yard you can cover in the 90-ish minutes you’ll get per charge will probably depend on how much leaf-blowing and vacuuming you’re doing and how aggressively you’re leaning on the power dial – but a number of reviewers are talking about clearing a 1/4 acre lot on a charge, and that feels about right.
You can order the EGO POWER+ Leaf Vacuum and Mulcher with 500 CFM Blower as a standalone tool, or with a 6.0Ah ARC Lithium battery and 320W charger included. Either way, you get the vacuum tube, leaf bag, blower tube, tapered nozzle, and shoulder strap, and durable IPX5-rated weather-resistant construction promises years of use, backed up by a 5 year limited tool warranty and 3 year limited battery warranty.
