    Quick Answer

You can get Google Pixel’s Rambler AI voice typing on many Android phones without root by patching a supported Gboard version with Morphe. Once enabled, Rambler can clean up speech, remove filler words, fix grammar, add punctuation, and format dictated text using AI.

If there is one feature that truly revolutionized because of AI, it is voice typing. Voice typing did exist way before AI, but it was very basic. It only converted the spoken audio directly into text, which included all the filler words, missing punctuation, grammar mistakes, and more. It basically turned whatever you spoke into text.

But with AI, voice typing goes through one extra step, where all your typing is fed to the AI models, which remove all filler words and format the sentence structure. It fundamentally eliminates the need for you to copy text into multiple apps, fix the grammar and sentence structure, and then copy it again to wherever you need it.

Third-party voice dictation apps went ahead and also included support for different formatting styles based on the app you are using, and they support almost every app.

However, the AI voice dictation feature truly gained traction after Google introduced the Pixel 11’s Rambler feature, which is very similar to AI voice dictation apps that use AI to refine the speech-to-text output.

However, currently, this feature is officially available on Pixel 11 series devices. You can see the full requirements here. But with a single patch for your Google Gboard, you can get this feature on a supported Android device. In this video, you are going to learn exactly how to get the Google Pixel’s Rambler feature on another Android device without root.

At the time of writing this article, the Google Rambler feature is officially supported on Google Pixel 11, Google Pixel 11 Pro, Google Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold. FAQs on Using Google Rambler on Non-Pixel Phones

    1. Is it safe to use a patched version of Gboard with my Google account?

Yes, it is safe to install if you follow my steps exactly and only use the resources I included in this guide. For safety, I also highly recommend checking the app before installing using Google Play Protect or using third-party antivirus scanner tools like VirusTotal.

    2. Will Rambler continue working after Gboard or Android gets updated?

Yes, since you are using a separate Gboard patched version, updating the original Gmail app won’t affect this patched version. However, the patched version also needs to be updated in case Google blocks access to the Rambler feature for other devices.

    3. Can I switch back to the official Gboard later without losing my keyboard settings?

You won’t lose any settings; you can simply switch back to the original Gboard if you want to anytime.

    4. Which languages does Rambler support for AI voice typing?

Google Rambler currently supports Arabic, English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and a few other Indian languages,

    5. Does Rambler send my voice recordings or typed text to Google for processing?

Yes, the Google Pixel Rambler feature uses cloud processing to fix sentences; however, Google says this data is not saved, stored, or shared and is deleted immediately after the processed text is delivered.
