While we await potentially more discounts on our tech in the coming weeks, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is now down to $1,599 on Amazon, knocking a sizeable chunk off the MSRP.
Whether or not this is going to settle as the new price on the foldable remains to be seen, but it has only ever been cheaper once post-launch as part of Amazon’s Prime Day sale, where it hit an all-time low of $1,549. That said, at $1,599 you’re getting arguably one of the best foldable experiences for content consumption, mobile gaming, and all wrapped up in an elegant and colorful package.
It’s worth noting that Samsung.com still has the Fold 8 listed at the $1,899 MSRP, making this a solid deal for anyone who has been thinking about this phone since Apple decided to wade into the foldable space. If you prefer a “regular” phone shape with that 1:1 inner aspect ratio folding screen, then the Z Fold 8 Ultra isdiscounted by $200 on Amazon right now too.
