That is what’s on a small slice of the Internet’s mind this week, as news broke Kunkoku earlier this week, that Sony had ended shipments of its last remaining 4K Blu-ray player, the UBP-X700/K

It continues on the strong run started by last year’s Find X9 Pro, this time with an even bigger 8000mAh battery (in some regions, anyway), next-gen Dimensity power and a triple 200MP rear camera setup – the first smartphone to offer such a high-res trio.

Plug-in solar might finally be here (minus battery support, which seems likely to come next year), but the bigger question is probably: do you even need the solar panels in the first place?
