Amazon is now offering Sony’s PS5 DualSense controller in the Rythm Blue finish for $69.99 shipped. Be sure to clip the on-page coupon to see the discounted price during checkout. This model debuted earlier this year as part of the Hyperpop collection with an $85 price tag, so you’re looking at nearly 20% off today. It has only been discounted once before, when it briefly dipped to around $64, and today’s offer lands within just $6 of that all-time low. Walmart has the Techno Red model at $79.99 shipped with a relatively lighter deal, so be sure to pick the one you like after getting more details below.
Sony has plenty of DualSense controllers in solid colors, but the Hyperpop collection switches things up with gradient finishes inspired by glowing neon lights. They should fit particularly well into RGB-heavy battlestations, and the different colorways make it easy to pick one that matches the rest of your setup. Outside of the new finishes, these are the same standard DualSense controllers in terms of features and overall experience, so you can expect the usual adaptive triggers, haptics, and familiar layout. One thing to keep in mind is that the Hyperpop models use a glossy finish, which is likely to show fingerprints more easily than Sony’s matte options.
Sony’s PlayStation PULSE Explore earbuds in the Midnight Black finish are still down to $149 right now, so they’re worth a look as well if you’re upgrading your PlayStation setup. PC gamers can also stop by our gaming accessories hub, where we’re tracking deals on mice, keyboards, headsets, and other battlestation gear starting from just $20.
