The wait is over. Apple TV subscribers can now stream the first episode of Slow Horses’ new season, just hours after the platform announced the show has been confirmed for two more seasons. Watch the trailer for the new season below.
Slow Horses season 6 now available on Apple TV
Apple TV has just released the first episode of Slow Horses’ sixth season, which is set to run every Wednesday through October 21.
The show’s return comes just one day after Saul Metzstein won Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series for last season’s finale, titled Scars, and also just hours after Apple TV confirmed it for two more seasons.
Slow Horses debuted in early 2022 to great praise and has since been on a faster release cycle than usual, averaging more than one season per year.
Expectations for the new season are running high, with Awards Buzzsaying this is the show’s best season yet.

“Slow Horses” is a darkly humorous espionage drama that follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 known, unaffectionately, as Slough House. Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but cantankerous leader of the spies who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes and who frequently find themselves blundering around the smoke and mirrors of the espionage world. Season six sees the Slow Horses on the run as Diana Taverner embroils them all in a fatally high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge.
