Serval Raises $150M at $3B Valuation
Serval has raised $150 million in Series C funding to expand its enterprise AI automation platform. Sequoia led the round at a $3 billion valuation. Existing investors included Elad Gil, Evantic, First Round, General Catalyst and Redpoint. New participants included Conviction and Headline.
The San Francisco-based company has now raised $277 million in total funding. This marks its third funding round within approximately twelve months. Its latest financing follows a $75 million Series B announced in December 2025. Serval aims to replace repetitive administrative tasks with automated workflows.
Its technology builds automations that resolve requests within a governed enterprise system. The company serves customers including Fox Corporation, WPP, Live Nation, Notion, Ramp and Lucid Motors. It plans to use the new capital to accelerate product development and expand its global operations.
Catalyst Brings AI Automation Across Departments
Serval’s core product, Catalyst, enables employees to automate work using AI agents. Users can describe tasks in natural language without needing an engineering background. The platform then builds automations designed to complete those tasks.
Initially focused on IT support, Catalyst handles workflows such as password resets and access requests. Serval is now expanding its capabilities across other enterprise departments. The goal is to help employees automate repetitive work beyond traditional IT operations.
The company reports that its annual recurring revenue has doubled every quarter since its Series B. It also says two Fortune 20 customers recently adopted its platform for organisation-wide automation. Most customers reportedly go live within 30 days.
Serval is positioning its technology against established enterprise service management providers. Its strategy challenges legacy systems that primarily track requests rather than automatically resolving them. Serval’s ability to deliver reliable deployments will remain central to its growth.
ProServal Targets Enterprise Automation Challenges
ProServal is deploying more than 100 Automation Engineers to help enterprises overcome complex automation challenges and turn AI technology into measurable business benefits
Serval is launching ProServal, a professional services division focused on enterprise automation. The unit will place more than 100 Automation Engineers inside complex organisations.Serval intends to increase its headcount in a number of areas as well.
The automation experts will determine which tasks can be automated and will create solutions, designing automation around existing business processes. The company hopes to hire engineers who can learn quickly in the ever-evolving environment of AI development tools.
Approximately half of the first group of engineers will be new grads. Serval will offer a four-week training programme ahead of placing them in customer organisations. This addresses one of the biggest difficulties with enterprise AI, which is turning what looks like great technology into real business benefits.

Serval Challenges Established Enterprise Software
Serval’s latest funding reflects investor interest in AI agents that perform operational work. Rather than simply answering questions, these systems can execute tasks within enterprise environments. This creates opportunities to challenge established software platforms.
However, competition remainsintense. ServiceNow and Workday are expanding their own AI automation capabilities. These established providers also offer enterprise controls and existing customer relationships. Serval must demonstrate that its platform can replace legacy systems reliably at scale.
With reported revenue growth, Serval is demonstrating strong commercial traction. But the challenge of maintaining this momentum is more sophisticated deployments in larger organisations. Having raised a $150m round, Serval will have the ability to scale this up.
