Big-screen phone tasks are a lot easier when your phone can open up into something closer to a small tablet. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 is built for that kind of day-to-day use, and there’s a solid deal on Amazon right now that makes it more tempting.
Amazon has the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 for $1,599.99, down from its $1,899.99 recommended retail price. That’s a $300 discount, or 16% off the RRP. It’s also the second-lowest price we’ve seen since launch, so this is a strong time to buy if you’ve been waiting for a better price.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is Samsung’s mainstream book-style foldable for 2026, and its biggest draw is the wider outer screen. When the phone is closed, that cover display feels more like a normal phone than earlier Fold models, which makes quick messages, browsing, and everyday use more comfortable. Open it up, and you get the larger foldable display experience that’s great for multitasking.
Samsung made this version thinner and lighter than past generations, with a flatter fold and a less noticeable crease. Inside, it packs flagship-grade performance with a top-tier Snapdragon chip, with a strong focus on productivity and running multiple apps at once. Battery life is described as solid for a foldable, and the camera system is improved as well. Overall, it’s one of the most polished Android foldables yet.
It also has a 4.7-star Amazon rating, which adds to the appeal. You can check out the deal right here on Amazon.
