Robots & Pencils, an applied AI engineering company, has acquired Tiger Pistol, a marketing automation platform that helps enterprises, franchises, and resellers manage and scale digital advertising campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Amazon, and other channels.

The acquisition expands Robots & Pencils’ capabilities in AI-powered customer experience transformation by combining its applied AI engineering expertise with Tiger Pistol’s established marketing automation technology and product development capabilities.

Tiger Pistol will operate as Robots & Pencils’ customer experience transformation studio practice, bringing a platform that has supported more than four million digital advertising campaigns over more than 15 years.

The transaction supports Robots & Pencils’ strategy of evolving beyond a traditional services model toward repeatable, product-accelerated solutions that combine software platforms, AI agents, reusable engineering frameworks, and specialized implementation services.

Central to this strategy is the development of reusable agentic patterns, which are software blueprints containing working code that can be adapted to different enterprise environments. Rather than building each AI solution from the beginning, Robots & Pencils intends to use these patterns to accelerate deployment, reduce implementation complexity, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

The company believes this approach can help enterprises move from experimental AI initiatives to production-ready systems more efficiently.

Tiger Pistol provides an established foundation for this strategy. Its platform automates digital advertising workflows for large brands, franchise networks, and resellers, enabling organizations to manage campaigns across multiple locations and channels while maintaining consistent brand standards.

These capabilities are intended to help marketing teams move beyond traditional campaign management processes, where performance is reviewed periodically and changes are implemented manually.

The combined platform will also support automated advertising creative development, including media production, video creation, and publishing through Tiger Pistol’s Creative Automation Studio.

Generative AI models will be informed by historical campaign performance, audience responses, and brand guidelines to help businesses produce relevant marketing content while maintaining consistency across advertising channels.

Another component of the acquisition involves Robots & Pencils’ forward-deployed engineering model, which places engineers alongside client teams to design, develop, and implement AI systems directly within existing enterprise technology environments.

This approach is intended to help organizations connect marketing automation capabilities with their broader business operations, data systems, and customer engagement platforms.

Robots & Pencils said its implementation model can bring new AI capabilities into production in as little as 30 to 45 days, depending on the project.

The acquisition also provides opportunities to expand the company’s existing portfolio of agentic customer experience solutions, including voice-to-voice AI systems that have already been implemented for enterprise customers.

Robots & Pencils is an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner and was selected as one of 11 inaugural AWS Pattern Partners from the global AWS Partner Network. The company was also selected as an AWS Business Value Realization Motion Launch Partner.

These relationships support its efforts to develop reusable AI solutions using AWS cloud infrastructure, advanced data science, and enterprise engineering capabilities.

The combined organization plans to continue investing in reusable AI assets, agentic patterns, and solution accelerators, with selected offerings expected to become available through AWS Marketplace.

Founded in 2009, Robots & Pencils serves enterprises across consumer products, retail, education, energy, financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing. The company operates delivery centers in the United States, Canada, Eastern Europe, and Latin America.

Tiger Pistol specializes in digital advertising automation for enterprise brands, franchises, and resellers. Its platform supports campaign creation, execution, optimization, and brand management across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Amazon, and other digital advertising channels.

The company is a Meta Business Partner and a TikTok Channel Sales Partner, reflecting its established relationships within major digital advertising ecosystems.

The acquisition also illustrates a broader shift in enterprise AI adoption toward integrated systems that combine existing software platforms with intelligent agents capable of executing and improving operational workflows.

“Brands need integrated, outcome-driven agentic systems that work at scale. By converging Tiger Pistol’s product development strengths with our applied AI, forward-deployed engineering depth, and delivery model built on AWS, we’re giving clients a rinse-and-repeat path to measurable business results, live in as little as 30 to 45 days.”

Len Pagon Jr., Chief Executive Officer of Robots & Pencils

“Marketers came to Tiger Pistol to accelerate scale and speed to market, while maintaining brand control. Now they can transform the entire customer experience.”

Paul Elliott, Chief Executive Officer of Tiger Pistol
