As part of the ongoing fall Prime Day sale, Amazon is offering Razer’s Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition Hall effect controller in black for $37.99 shipped. This gamepad originally launched at $100 and has more recently been hovering around the $75 mark at Amazon. We’ve seen it discounted a few times through short-lived Woot offers, but today’s deal delivers the steepest price drop yet, knocking $62 off the launch price and marking a new all-time low. It’s easily one of the better controller deals we’re tracking right now for fall Prime Day, and you can learn more about it in detail below.
Razer’s Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition is a wired controller, which is great for competitive play. It has Hall effect joysticks to help avoid stick drift and HyperTriggers for quicker inputs, and Razer has also added extra bumpers for claw-grip users. The controller connects through a detachable 10-foot braided USB-C cable and supports a 1,000Hz polling rate for more responsive input. Other highlights of this gamepad include rubberized grips, front-facing RGB on the Razer logo, and two interchangeable thumbstick caps. Razer also offers a wireless version that works over a 2.4GHz USB dongle or the same USB-C connection, and it’s currently sitting at the $130 mark – down from its $170 price.
