- Google will launch a Quick Share SDK for Android and iOS in the first half of 2027.
- This will allow developers to embed peer-to-peer file sharing and Tap to Share inside of apps.
- With this functionality, you’ll be able to share without having to bring up the share sheet and launch the full-screen Quick Share experience.
In case you didn’t know, Google recently held its Android Dev Summit. In addition to offering a few details about Android 18, it also announced some news related to Quick Share. The company will be launching an SDK that will make the file-sharing tool even more convenient than it currently is.
