We’ve been seeing an uptick in users reporting problems with their Pixel phones since Android 17 QPR1 started hitting devices this month. Today, we’ve noticed multiple users complaining about a particularly disruptive bug. On some phones, the status bar and notification shade are acting up, failing to display notifications and not responding to touch input.
Over the past few days, atleastthree Pixel users have posted on Pixel subreddits with complaints that could be related: the status bar sometimes fails to show new notifications, and both the notification shade and Quick Settings tiles are sometimes unresponsive to touch input. Each post has comments from users who say they’re having similar problems.
