Starting with Play Services version 26.39, the latest release brings several changes to account management, developer services, security and privacy, and Google Wallet.

Your phone can now read Find Hub tags over NFC. Just hold your phone against a tag, and you’ll see its details and settings right away. A quick tap also helps you identify it if you lose a tag.
Furthermore, Google has added a new registration flow for Find Hub network tags. During the first setup, you can set categories, rename tags, and configure features like Left-Behind Reminders. This removes the need to adjust them manually later in the app.
For Google Wallet, the update brings support for card artwork and payment network logos in card tokenization prompt notifications. This makes it easier to recognize the card you are adding.
Meanwhile, Google has updated the Play Store to version 53.5 with a couple of key changes. In India, AI-generated images will now include an AI label, though some exceptions apply. Google has also added a way for reviewers to see their global influence, including the total views and helpfulness votes.
Google will share more release notes throughout October. However, it hasn’t confirmed when Galaxy devices will receive the October 2026 Play System updates. You can check for updates update
