Alongside the gameplay reveal of the new Zelda Ocarina of Time remake, as well as the ongoing pre-order discount at Amazon on physical copies, Nintendo also revealed a new real-life, playable Ocarina instrument collectible – it is now available for pre-order.
Link’s magical Ocarina of Time is coming to life alongside the new remake.
As Mr. Aonuma demonstrated in the gameplay reveal last week, Nintendo announced you can hum into your mic to actually play the Ocarina of Time or use this real-life electronic ocarina instrument to do it instead.
It is now available for pre-order straight from Nintendo at $49.99 and there’s no telling how long it will stay in stock.
The new Electric OCARINA OF TIME has two play modes: “Free Play Mode, to play notes and melodies freely, and Auto-Play Mode, which can play 12 in-game songs with the simple press of a button.”

There is a built-in Volume Control Dial, a headphone jack, and “an external speaker for a more immersive experience.”
But, to be clear, this is not an actual ocarina, but rather “an electronic toy [that] is not a real ocarina. It is operated pushing the mouthpeice button and touching the finger buttons, and is not played by blowing into it.” It is, nonetheless, a pretty sweet Zelda collectible if you ask me.
Play a song on the Ocarina and let the Nintendo Switch™ 2 system pick up the sound. Your performance triggers the corresponding action in the game, creating an immersive connection between your music and your adventure.
