Over at Amazon, we just spotted a deal on the Blue JBL Boombox 4 Portable Bluetooth Speaker down at $426.95 shipped, while the other colorways start $3 higher in price. It’s been down from its $550 full price since mid-August at $430, but this particular colorway is dipping $3 lower in price for $123 total savings that also marks a new all-time low price. We’ve also collected some of JBL’s other deals on smaller speakers for you below.
If you want to really bring along some booming audio anywhere you go, the JBL Boombox 4 speaker is a top-shelf option amongst the brand’s lineup with an IP68 waterproof and dustproof rating. Redesigned from its predecessor (sitting $77 lower in price right now), this newer-gen model sports two larger woofers alongside two tweeters, and three passive radiators “so every track hits harder and sounds cleaner.” It boasts the brand’s AI Sound Boost tech, analyzing music in real time to adjust settings for the ideal power that lessens distortion. What’s nice here is that along with the 34-hour battery life on each full charge, the battery can also be individually replaced if it ever dies so you have one less reason to buy a completely new speaker.

JBL Boombox 4 Portable Waterproof Speaker features:
- Unbeatable JBL Pro Sound with AI Sound Boost: We’re talking massive sound with deep and punchy bass. The redesigned JBL Boombox 4 packs in two bigger woofers, two tweeters and three passive radiators, so every track hits harder and sounds cleaner. And with AI Sound Boost, we don’t have to lift a finger—this smart tech analyzes our music in real time and adjusts the sound to give us more power with less distortion, even when we turn it all the way up.
- Up to 34 hours of playtime: Keep the vibe alive from party to party… to party, for up to 28 hours on a single charge. Forgot to charge up for the next one? It’s all good. JBL Playtime Boost adds up to 6 hours of extra popping, locking, sliding, or whatever moves you got left in that bag.
- Waterproof and dustproof: The JBL Boombox 4 is IP68 waterproof and dustproof, so it can handle whatever the weather—or our clumsiest friends—throw at it.
- Multi-speaker connection by Auracast: Wouldn’t it be great to share the whole mood with the whole crew? With Auracast, effortlessly stereo pair two Boombox 4 speakers for a wider sound stage or connect multiple Auracast-enabled JBL speakers to cover more ground with the same playlist.
- Two Bass Boost settings to match our vibe: When it comes to bass, we like having options. Fire up the JBL Boombox 4 and you’ll get that classic JBL signature bass we all love. Want to take it deeper? Hit the Bass Boost button on the top panel—the JBL Horn mark glows orange, and boom, you’re in Deep Bass mode, where those two woofers and three passive radiators go all in. Want something tighter and more energetic? Tap the button twice, the Horn mark turns white, and you’re in Punchy Bass mode. Whatever the mood, we’ve got the bass to match.
- Bigger and louder, but lighter: The JBL Boombox 4 sounds bigger and better than ever—but here’s the real win: we redesigned it to be lighter than before. So now it’s way easier to set the tone wherever we go.
- Lossless audio playback: Want to hear every detail? Plug into your laptop or other audio device using the Boombox 4’s USB-C port* to enjoy lossless audio playback. It’s perfect for real audio fans who want more from their music. Just make sure your source offers lossless audio. *Requires compatible lossless audio content from supported apps or services.
- Recycled plastic and fabric, plus FSC certified paper packaging: The JBL Boombox 4 incorporates post-consumer recycled plastic and recycled fabric for the speaker grille. It’s also packaged in FSC-certified paper printed with soy ink.
- Replaceable battery**: “Want even more life out of your speaker? Replace the rechargeable battery in three simple steps, and your JBL Boombox 4 will be back at full power. **Replaceable battery sold separately”
