iOS 27 launched this week, and it includes several new Apple Intelligence-related benefits for iCloud+ subscribers.
iCloud+ gives iOS 27 users higher AI usage limits, plus new Home features

There are a variety of new Apple Intelligence features that just arrived in iOS 27, many of which you can read about here.
As part of Apple overhauling its AI offerings, though, the company shared that certain features come with daily usage limits. That’s because they rely on “powerful server models.”
While all of these features are available free for users, iCloud+ subscribers gain the benefit of higher usage limits in iOS 27.
Some Apple Intelligence features, including image generation, have daily usage limits because they rely on powerful server models. Increased access is available with most iCloud+ subscription plans, which also include Apple Intelligence support for compatible Home cameras.
However, if you’re using any of the other iCloud+ tiers, or are an Apple One subscriber, iOS 27 provides more leeway when using certain advanced AI features—such as image generation, for example.
Additionally, the Home app in iOS 27 has some great AI features for iCloud+ subscribers too
With the new features and iCloud+, your compatible home camera can get AI video descriptions, let you search clips, and surface noteworthy clips automatically.
It’s unrelated to iOS 27, but this week Apple also expanded iCloud+ to include free Apple TV and Apple Arcade in much of the world outside the US.
