HUMBLE, Texas (KTRK) –A Humble man was placed into custody after deputies said they found AI-generated child pornography images in his home.
On Monday, the Harris County Precinct One Constable’s Office posted a video of the man’s arrest.
According to Pct. 1, 29-year-old Alexander Bigelow faces three second-degree felonies of possession of computer-generated pornography of children under 10 years of age. The constable’s office said each carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
A 2025 Texas law makes possession of obscene material appearing to depict a child, regardless of whether the depiction was created by artificial intelligence, a crime.
Deputies said Bigelow is also charged with a state-jail felony of “invasive visual recording of a bathroom or changing room for using a camera disguised as a charger to covertly record a bedroom other than his own.”
Pct. 1 said that during their search, detectives found a computer and a hard drive containing the AI-generated child pornography images.
