As part of the September 2026 Feature Drop, Google today is rolling out a Wear OS update to the Pixel Watch 2, 3, and 4.
Google shared the following build numbers this afternoon, but the factory and OTA images are not yet live:
- Pixel Watch 3 & 4: CP3A.260905.002
- Pixel Watch 2: CP3A.260905.002.E1
All watches (Pixel Watch 2 and up) are receiving “Gemini Personalization” that leverages both your past conversations and connected Google apps (Gmail, Calendar, Search, YouTube, and Photos) for more personalized responses. This is “powered by an offline user profile and real-time online retrieval working together.”
Like on the web and mobile, Personalization allows for prompts like “What’s on my calendar today” and “Find the tracking number in my email.”
Meanwhile, users of the Pixel Watch 3 and newer can now:
- Double pinch to open At a Glance from watch face
- Double pinch to open notification center from watch face
- Double pinch to scroll through Gemini response
- Double pinch to scroll through cards in Wallet app
- Double pinch to scroll through your workout metrics
- Double pinch to toggle between Google Maps views
- Double pinch to manage Recorder app
- Wrist turn gesture as universal back navigation
The Pixel Watch 4 and newer benefit from improved raise-to-talk performance thanks to an updated gesture model.
“General bug fixes and improvements” is the final item on the changelog.
