The Android 17 QPR1 preview is surprisingly still active as Google today released Beta 9. This follows a big Android 17 QPR2 Beta 3 on Friday.
Android 17 QPR1 Beta 9 is still on the July 2026 security patch and resolves the following issues:
- Swiping the bottom gesture bar to switch between apps failed after invoking Circle to Search by updating system gesture handling to properly reset navigation focus. (Issue #529422135)
