Conventional sleep masks routinely slip off the face before deep sleep begins, press directly on closed eyelids, and lose their shape within a dozen wash cycles. GeniYes is attempting to address those problems with the Sleepmaxxer Mask, a non-electronic smart gadget sleep accessory currently live on Kickstarter, with projected shipping beginning in November 2026.
GeniYes reports the campaign reached its funding goal within 3.5 hours of launch. November 2026 shipping is a projected fulfillment date, not a guaranteed delivery, and standard crowdfunding risks apply.
The core design includes contoured eye cups intended to block light without pressing on the eyelids, a removable chin strap to help reduce overnight shifting, and a modular headband. A built-in pocket is sized for compatible third-party external nasal dilators prototyping, and manufacturing coordination were handled by Analogy Design
Side, stomach, and back sleepers are the stated primary audience. GeniYes also describes the mask as potentially compatible with eyelash extensions and says it is designed to coexist with CPAP straps without slipping, though that compatibility claim requires independent fit testing before it can be considered broadly verified. For those evaluating the Sleepmaxxer for on-the-go use, exploring travel tech gadgets may offer helpful context.
GeniYes positions the Sleepmaxxer around circadian science, describing blocking ambient light during sleep as supportive of melatonin signaling and circadian timing. Harvard Health confirms that reducing evening light exposure and increasing morning light can support circadian regulation. The sameion has not been directly studied as a unified practice
The nasal-dilator pocket holds compatible third-party external dilators and does not make the Sleepmaxxer a medical device. It should not be described as a treatment for snoring or obstructive sleep apnea, and users with suspected sleep apnea should seek clinical evaluation rather than rely on a sleep accessory.
Early-bird backers pay $40; the regular listed price is $60. Kickstarter reward tiers and pricing can change, so the live campaign page is the authoritative
The Sleepmaxxer packages retention, eye-pressure relief, washability, and optional nasal-breathing accessory support into one configurable form factor. Whether that engineering justifies $40 to $60 over an established contoured mask is a question hands-on testing will eventually need to answer.
