Samsung is expanding the stable One UI 9 rollout for the Galaxy S23 series and Galaxy A27 beyond South Korea. These devices are now receiving the Android 17-based update in Europe, joining the Galaxy A37. These releases mark the beginning of a broader global rollout, with more countries expected to follow in the coming days.
Galaxy S23 and A27 get stable One UI 9 in Europe
Samsung initially released One UI 9 for these models in South Korea last week. The expansion to Europe suggests that the company is now preparing to bring the latest software to eligible users in more markets. European Galaxy S23 users are receiving the update with the build version GZIF, while the A27’s One UI 9 update carries the identifier BZIF.
These models are joining Samsung’s growing list of devices receiving the stable One UI 9 update outside Korea. The 2023 flagship lineup remains eligible for the latest software upgrade, bringing it the newest version of Samsung’s Android interface. However, this could be the final major OS release for the phones.

The expansion is also noteworthy for midrange users, as Samsung continues to bring its latest software to devices beyond its premium Galaxy S lineup. With this release, One UI 9 is available for the Galaxy A57, A37, and A27 in several regions. The company may now shift its focus to older models in the coming days.
One UI 9 introduces interface refinements, updated system apps, and other improvements. However, the availability of individual features may vary by device, with some advanced Galaxy AI capabilities remaining limited to newer flagship models. Galaxy users can always check for new updates by going to Settings > Software update.
