    TL;DR

    • DJI has launched the Osmo 360 II with a new 1-inch square HDR sensor capable of recording 8K video at 60fps.
    • The camera also gets an AI SuperNight 2.0 feature for improved low-light footage, 120MP HDR photos, and 16K timelapses.
    • It weighs 183g and includes 105GB of built-in storage, replaceable lenses, and up to 100 minutes of 8K/30fps recording.

DJI has launched its latest 360-degree action camera, the Osmo 360 II, at IFA 2026. The new camera brings a larger sensor, faster 8K recording, and promises improved low-light performance.

The headline upgrade is a new 1-inch square HDR sensor, which DJI says maintains the same 360-degree field of view as a traditional 1-inch rectangular sensor. It is capable of capturing 8K video at 60fps, with up to 14.5 stops of dynamic range and 2.4μm pixels.

For low-light shooting, the Osmo 360 II uses DJI’s new AI SuperNight 2.0 feature and an AI noise-reduction system designed to produce brighter and cleaner footage in dimly lit conditions.

The camera also supports 120MP HDR 360-degree photos, 16K timelapses, and 8K/120fps Vortex footage. DJI says its software can generate up to 64x slow motion using AI frame interpolation, equivalent to cropped 8K/480fps. All video formats now support 10-bit color, while D-Log M is also available for color grading.

For action shooting, the Osmo 360 II is waterproof up to 10 meters without a case and can operate in temperatures as low as -20 degrees. DJI has also added Spotlight Follow, which can keep a subject centered even as the camera rotates.

The 183g camera comes with 105GB of built-in storage. One of its best features is that it now comes with replaceable lenses, so if a lens gets damaged, it can be easily swapped out.

As far as battery life goes, DJI says the camera can record for up to 100 minutes at 8K/30fps and reach 80% charge in 22 minutes.

The Osmo 360 II also integrates with DJI’s Mimo app and supports direct connections to compatible DJI microphones.
