Demand for the iPhone Duo has been “nothing short of extraordinary,” Apple said in a statement to the Financial Times. The company also said it is “working hard to get this revolutionary new product into customers’ hands as quickly as possible.”

Evercore cautioned, however, that extended lead times can reflect either strong demand or constrained supply.
