Bilt.me, an Estonia-based AI-powered mobile app development platform, has raised $700,000 in pre-seed funding led by Superhero Capital, with participation from Bolt founder Markus Villig and Lightyear founder Martin Sokk. The company will use the financing to accelerate international expansion and further develop its platform, which allows users to create, launch, and monetize native mobile applications without writing code.
Founded in August 2025 by Uku Joost Annus, Kevin Akkermann, and Karl Kiilaspää, Bilt.me is developing an AI-native platform designed to make mobile app development accessible to entrepreneurs, small businesses, and individuals without technical backgrounds.
The company positions itself as the “Shopify of mobile apps,” aiming to simplify the process of turning an idea into a functioning business through mobile applications.
Unlike many AI-powered development platforms that primarily generate web applications, Bilt.me focuses on building native iOS and Android apps that can be published directly to Apple’s App Store and Google Play.
Its platform uses AI agents to guide users through the development process, from an initial concept to a completed application.
The founders believe that mobile app development remains unnecessarily complex despite recent advances in generative AI and no-code development tools. While creating websites has become accessible to a broad range of users, developing native mobile applications typically requires additional technical expertise and infrastructure.
Bilt.me is addressing that gap by combining AI-assisted development with the supporting services required to operate a mobile app business.
The company has developed three complementary products: Bilt Payments, Bilt Cloud, and Bilt Link.
Together, these services provide payment processing, cloud infrastructure, and app-sharing capabilities within the broader Bilt.me ecosystem.
The integrated approach is intended to eliminate the need for users to assemble multiple third-party services before launching their applications.
Bilt.me reports that its platform has already surpassed $100,000 in annual recurring revenue, with revenue doubling month over month for two consecutive months.
Thousands of users are developing applications on the platform, and the company reports that approximately 75% of projects are consumer-facing, while the remaining 25% are private or internal business tools.
Users have already launched revenue-generating applications through both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
These early adoption metrics demonstrate how the company is attempting to turn AI-assisted software development into a platform for entrepreneurship.
Bilt.me originated as a hackathon project, with its founders initially seeking to address the restrictions and challenges of testing applications within Apple’s development ecosystem.
That project evolved into an AI-powered development platform that guides users through creating and launching mobile applications.
The founding team subsequently participated in and won the inaugural cohort of ruum, a hacker space located in Tallinn’s Krulli Quarter.
All three founders are in their early 20s, and the company currently operates with a team of six engineers.
Bilt.me follows a rapid development approach, releasing updates frequently and publicly demonstrating its application development process through Twitch livestreams.
The company is emerging from Estonia’s established startup ecosystem, which has produced technology companies including Skype, Wise, Bolt, and Pipedrive.
Its latest financing brings together venture capital investors and founders with experience building international technology businesses.
Lead investor Superhero Capital is supporting Bilt.me’s next stage of development, while Villig and Sokk bring experience scaling consumer-facing technology platforms beyond Estonia.
Villig, who founded Bolt, identified the technical barriers associated with building applications as a significant obstacle for aspiring entrepreneurs.
Bilt.me’s founders believe recent AI advances create an opportunity to reduce those barriers and make mobile application development accessible to a substantially larger group of people.
