Apple (AAPL) reported a strong fourth-quarter performance, with revenue and earnings posting double-digit growth despite supply-chain constraints and rising memory costs. The iPhone remained a key growth driver, supported by resilient consumer demand and sustained product momentum.

Although strong product sales and continued expansion across its services ecosystem strengthen Apple’s growth outlook, analysts’ sentiment toward the stock remains divided, with some analysts adopting a more cautious stance.

Apple shares have gained more than 28% year-to-date, significantly outperforming its Magnificent Seven peers. This relative strength partly reflects the market’s favorable assessment of Apple’s comparatively disciplined approach to <a href="https://myappsplus.com/from-market-women-to-female-professionals-can-artificial-intelligence-transform-womens-economic-lives-in-ghana/" title="From Market Women to Female Professionals: Can Artificial Intelligence Transform Women's Economic Lives in Ghana?”>artificial intelligence (AI) investments. Unlike several technology giants committing substantial capital to AI infrastructure, Apple has maintained a more measured spending strategy, helping it avoid some of the cost and profitability concerns weighing on its peers.

Nevertheless, AAPL’s notable appreciation has driven its valuation higher, which explains why analysts are divided, and Apple stock still isn’t a “Strong Buy.”

Apple’s Growth Outlook Remains Resilient Despite Supply Constraints

Apple’s latest quarterly results highlight the resilience of its business model, supported by continued demand for its hardware products, an expanding services ecosystem and a growing global customer base. Revenue increased 12% year-over-year to $114.5 billion. This growth came despite foreign exchange pressures and supply constraints affecting the iPhone, Mac and iPad, suggesting underlying demand remains strong.

Hardware remained the primary growth contributor, with product revenue rising 12% to $82.9 billion. iPhone revenue increased 17% to $57.6 billion, reflecting strong demand across developed and emerging markets. Growth was broad-based, while the active iPhone installed base reached a new high. Record upgrade activity in markets such as the U.S., China, India, and Japan indicates that Apple continues to benefit from customer loyalty and its ability to encourage users to adopt newer devices.
