I use smart plugs for all sorts of things. One of the more interesting use cases I have come up with includes using them to reboot smart devices every now and then, including my secondary mesh Wi-Fi routers. Face it, everything needs a reboot here and there, and a smart plug can do it much more easily than you having to do it manually.
