We just spotted a deal at Amazon that drops the Mecha BREAK-themed 8BitDo Retro 87 TKL keyboard to $60 shipped. This special-edition model spent much of the year fetching closer to $100 before recently jumping back up to its full $120 price. Today’s deal delivers a straight-up 50% discount on its usual price, offering a $60 savings on a new keyboard for your battlestation. This is one of the lowest prices we’ve tracked for this particular variant, landing within just $7 of the all-time low it hit earlier this year. Head below for more details.
This special-edition 8BitDo Retro TKL keyboard, made in collaboration with Mecha BREAK: PANTHER, gives the board a frosted, semi-transparent shell and custom styling that looks a lot different from the standard Retro TKL models. The core feature set here remains largely the same though, with support for Windows and Android alongside tri-mode connectivity over Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless, and USB-C. The tenkeyless layout includes a dedicated Game Bar button, dual rotary knobs, and the usual pair of programmable Super Buttons in the box. 8BitDo also equips this version with Kailh Jellyfish Pro switches on a hot-swappable PCB, paired with doubleshot ABS keycaps finished with a matte UV coating. Other notable touches of this model include RGB backlighting and a top-mount design, rounding out this special-edition TKL.
