The November 2026 Google Play System updates are here. Google has shared its first batch of release notes, dated November 2, with changes to Play Services and the Play Store. The biggest additions are a new Android Family Hub and a Play Store reminder when Play Protect stays off. If you missed last month’s notes, here’s what changed in the October 2026 Play System updates.
November 2 Play System update notes: Play Services v26.43 and Play Store v53.9
Google Play Services version 26.43 adds the Android Family Hub. Google calls it a dedicated space for family management tools in Android Settings. The note doesn’t list the tools or say where the hub will appear on Galaxy phones. Separately, Google may soon let parents set a daily time limit on Gemini.
Quick Share also gets a backup feature. Google says Android phones can now automatically back up photos and videos to a Windows PC with Quick Share.

Additionally, Google Password Manager gets a fix for messy imports. If passwords or passkeys you import clash with ones you’ve already saved, you can now choose which credentials to keep. It follows September’s change that made moving passwords and passkeys between password managers simpler.
Google Wallet gets unspecified updates to loyalty cards, plus the usual bug fixes. The rest of the release is maintenance. App developers get new location and context tools, connectivity gets extra logging, and safety and emergency services get bug fixes. Google also lists system management updates that improve battery life, connectivity, performance, privacy, security, stability, and updatability on phones and cars.
Meanwhile, Google Play Store version 53.9 brings two changes. If you turn off Play Protect, Google’s built-in app scanner, the Play Store will now remind you after a while. Game listings also get at-a-glance highlights. Before you install a game, you can quickly check its gameplay style, review summaries, and gaming community activity.
Google usually adds more notes as the month goes on, and we’ll update this article when it does. However, it hasn’t confirmed when Galaxy devices will receive the November 2026 Play System updates. You can check for updates update
