Over at Amazon, you’ll find GameSir’s official storefront offering the Pocket Taco mobile Bluetooth controller in white for $27.99 shipped. This compact gamepad originally hit the scene carrying a $45 price tag and has more recently been sitting at the $35 mark. We first saw it fall to $28 during Prime Day earlier this year, and today’s offer brings it back down to that same all-time low. If you missed the previous deal, This is a great time to cash in and snag this little gamepad at its best price yet for mobile gaming if you missed the previous offer, and you can learn more about it in detail below.
GameSir’s Pocket Taco is a tiny Bluetooth controller that turns your phone into something closer to a mini handheld console. Instead of wrapping around the sides like most mobile controllers, it sits underneath your phone for a vertical, Game Boy-style layout that feels particularly well suited for retro games, emulators, and arcade titles. You still get a proper D-pad and physical buttons, which makes those kinds of games much nicer to play than relying on touchscreen controls. This unit is compact enough to throw in a pocket or bag, while the built-in 600mAh battery is rated to last through longer sessions. There’s also pass-through charging, so you can top up your phone without removing the controller.
