The Amazon Kindle Scribe stands out because it’s more than a regular e-reader. This Like-New 1st-gen Kindle Scribe with 32GB combines a large reading screen with handwriting features, so you can read, annotate, and take notes on one device, and there’s a solid deal on it right now.
This version is refurbished, tested, and certified by Amazon to look and work like new, and it comes with the same limited warranty as a new device. That makes it a smart way to get the Kindle Scribe experience for less. The 32GB capacity is a nice middle ground too, with enough room for big book libraries and notebooks without stepping up to the highest-capacity model.
This model comes with a premium tungsten pen, and that writing feature is a big reason people pick it over a standard Kindle. Its larger, paper-like screen makes it a strong fit for long reading sessions at a desk, margin notes, and keeping digital notebooks in one place. Compared to smaller Kindle models, it’s built more for reading and writing in one spot than carrying in a pocket.
On Amazon, the Like-New Amazon Kindle Scribe (32GB) is down to $299.99 from its $419.99 recommended retail price, which is a 29% discount. That saves you $120. It also helps that the latest Scribe costs at least $499.99, so this deal is an appealing way to get the core Scribe features without spending as much.
